I've been blessed with a beautiful wife, daughter, and son who mean the world to me. I would spend every waking moment of each day with them if I could. I understand what it's like to feel like you're missing out on some of the most important moments of their life, to leave before they ever wake, and to make it home just as they're getting ready for bed. We're only given so much time on this earth and not one of us knows the number of those days. That's why I've created Stronghold Strength & Conditioning Co.!
I've been working hard in the health and fitness industry for over a decade now, but have studied movement for over two. I know what it's like to work 7 days a week and 16 hour days. I also know what it's like to grind away at the gym focusing on my own goals for an hour or more 5 days a week. Today, I understand it's more about having the mobility, strength, and endurance to lift up those around me so we can experience life together. That means spending less time in the gym mindlessly following the same old bodybuilding routines and more time with the ones I love doing the things we love!
The key? Efficiency. Understanding how to optimize my nutrition, increase my mobility, and maximize my training efforts with consistency. Spending realistic amounts of time on myself with intent and properly scaled intensity. Moving well and moving often both in and outside of the gym. Simply put... Training and moving smarter! Today I spend less time in the gym than I ever have, but I'm also lifting more weight than I ever have.
I'm a strong believer that time is our most valuable asset. Yet, most of us are just blindly letting it slide right by us. We spend all day chasing after the wrong things and at the end of the day we're left miles away from the people who are supposed to be closest to us. We've got no energy left to connect and interact with the people who need us the most.
